KNOW YOUR BIBLE (KYB) material is designed for group use. The studies have a set part of the Bible to read each day at home and questions to be answered. When the group meets, the leader introduces the study. The participants then break into groups to share and discuss their answers to the questions. After the discussion groups, the leader gives a summary of the study. The recommended time for a complete session is 1½ hours. NEW RELEASE - TERM 2 - 2009
Please contact our office for more information about the studies. Studies are
now becoming available in a different writing style. The studies have the
same content as the standard study. They are also in the same format as
the standard study and have the same cover. These studies are known as
Special Edition, or SE
studies.
The different writing style in a Special Edition study book allows for an easier understanding of the content. Special editions are particularly helpful for those whose second language is English. Some KYB groups include participants who use standard study books and those who use special edition study books - within the one group. Because the format is the same, participants are able to refer to question numbers and paragraphs in the review notes without any confusion.
The different writing style in special edition studies is particularly attractive to students in schools where a subject such as Biblical studies is part of the curriculum. A number of groups, each with a leader, can use the special edition material. Each student completes the questions before the group meets. The leader encourages the sharing of answers and facilitates discussion.
Now available as Special Edition studies:
Coming soon ... Daniel; Joshua; Thessalonians; Nehemiah; Mark
